Police Officer

Applications will be available to be picked up at the City Clerk's office, 204 Pulaski Road, Calumet City, beginning on Mon. June 16th through Fri. June 27th. Office is open Mon. Tue. Thurs and Fri. 9 am to 5 pm. Wed 9 am to 8 pm. A non refundable fee of $20.00 is required for each application.

All applicants must be 21 years of age by the date of test Sat. July 19th, but not more than 35yrs of age. Applicants must have an associate's degree in law enforcement or criminal justice from an accredited IL Community College or a bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University.

All applications must be returned with required information to the City Clerk's office by Mon. July 7th, or so postmarked. No exceptions.

The starting salary is $40,650. Benefits include full family health care coverage, pension, 2 weeks paid vacation after 1 year and 13 paid holidays.
