Please be advised that the following dates for participation in the process of establishing an eligibility list for the position of Police Officer, Village of Brookfield, Police Department, must be strictly followed.

The mandatory orientation for the Police Officer Applicants will be conducted on Friday, December 5, 2003, at 7:00 p.m. at the Brookfield Village Hall, Courtroom, 8820 Brookfield Avenue, Brookfield, Illinois.

The required physical fitness procedure will take place on Saturday, December 6, 2003, at 8:00 a.m. at the Gross Elementary School, 3524 Maple Avenue, Brookfield, Illinois.

Immediately following the physical fitness procedure, the required written examination will take place on Saturday, December 6, 2003 at the Brookfield Village Hall, Lower Level, 8820 Brookfield Avenue, Brookfield.

Oral interviews and finger-printing will be conducted on Saturday, January 10, 2004, beginning at approximately 8:00 a.m. at the Brookfield Village Hall, Courtroom and Back Conference Room, 8820 Brookfield Avenue, Brookfield.

If need be, the oral interviews and fingerprinting will continue on Sunday, January 11, 2004, beginning at approximately 8:00 a.m.

Please Note: Application packets not returned complete in their entirety (including but not limited to the following: copy of high school diploma or GED equivalency; copy from college or university transcript, if applicable; copy of birth certificate; copy of military DD214, if applicable; copy of current Illinois driver’s license; and, recent photograph, maximum size 2" x 2", minimum size 1" x 1", the applicant can be disqualified.
