complement our Police Department. The Police Department has 83 Sworn
Personnel. Officers work a 6 day on and 3 day off schedule. Top pay in 4 and ½
years.
Qualifications:
Valid Drivers License. Vision correctable to 20/20 in both eyes. Pass medical exam including drug screening. Previous status as a certified Police Officer in the State of Illinois for one year after completion of a probationary period. Currently in good standing in the police department in which the person serves. Possess substantially equivalent skills and abilities as a Village of Arlington Heights Police Officer who has completed the probationary period, as determined by the Village and, Taken and passed such examinations as the Commission deems necessary to determine fitness for duty as a police officer.
