Western Will County Communications (WESCOM) is accepting applications for the position of Supervisor.  We offer a competitive salary and benefits package.  This is a 911 center servicing 14 agencies providing police, fire and EMS assistance.  The candidate must possess excellent organizational and communications skills, both verbal and written, possess dispatch experience preferably in a multi-jurisdictional center and possess a high school diploma or its equivalent.  Supervisory experience in the public safety arena is preferred.  Since this is a 24-hour emergency center, flexibility is essential.  Applications can be picked up at the Plainfield Police Department, 1400 N. Division St., Plainfield, IL 60544.  The completed applications must be received no later than Monday, August 4, 2003 by 4:00 p.m.
